What is Love?

One of my favorite music artists is Never Shout Never. He has this good/sad song called "What is Love." It explains about his parents getting a divorce, and clearly it tears this poor boy apart. But the music video is adorable for this. It's a great, cute movie. Christopher Drew is an adorable 18 year old. Except his guage ears.

But then you ask Bryan Adams for his opinion, and he replys:

It is the truth. When you actually love someone. You let them go, and if they love you, they will come back.

I saw a great example of this. It has taken a full two years for it to take place. My friends Marcus and Nikki used to be the biggest "thing" at our church. We always thought they would get married. Till they both graduated from high school. I heard that Marcus dumped Nikki, because he was going off to bigger better things. Nikki stayed the same. She was always the same sweetest girl that you would ever meet. Marcus tried new girls and new things. Nikki never did anything different. She let Marcus go...

Then life hits you in the face, maturity also takes place. You think you are going out to find a new love and someone you will adore forever. Once you go out and you're searching and then you come to realize that you had that perfect person for you all along...And you dumped on them.

Marcus came to this conclusion.

Now, I am very happy to announce Marcus and Nikki are together again. I knew it would happen. They had that one true love together 2 years ago and now its back. It's like the movie He's Just Not that Into You. The exception. Nikki is Marcus' exception.

I didnt think that this kind of love was real. It is real. The exception has been proven to be true. And this really makes me hopeful and happy.
